Music for People & Thingamajigs Festival (MFP&T)
along with
HARRISON 100/THINGAMAJIGS 20
Do you make music with found objects? Do you build or modify your own instruments? Do you play in unusual or historical tunings?
Here's your chance to enter the 20th Annual Music for People & Thingamajigs Festival, which will include the final shows of Harrison 100/Thingamajigs 20. Your proposal, if selected, will be included in our grant applications and will create opportunities for other funds too.
You will need the following information to complete the form:
Bio of the artist/performer/composer(s)
Specific description of the work or performance proposed
Documentation of the submitted or a related work (link to a website or audio)
Proposed budget for works involving large groups and/or travel expenses
Electronic submissions are preferred. Alternatively, you can send hard copies and fixed media documentation to:

PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES
The performances and the works presented in the festival are aligned with the following organizational goals:
Promote the creation of genre-crossing works which incorporate made/found instruments and alternate tuning systems
Offer a platform for artists in the aforesaid medium, to showcase their work
Expose the general public, and especially children, to experience sound in new ways
