Sew What? with Artist Angie Wilson — Learn a variety of sewing machine techniques to make backpacks, pillows, wallets, stuffies, and anything else your imagination allows.

Move in the rhythm of Capoeira — Let loose and take your shoes off to explore Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian art-form that combines martial arts, dance, gymnastics, music and singing. Learn the fundamental movements in a fun environment and by the end of the week, dance or do cartwheels all the way home. 

Make instruments with Thingamajigs Teaching Artists — Combine music, art and science to create your own wacky musical instruments from recycled objects. Through the trash-to-treasure process of instrument-building, you’ll learn about the science of sound and apply it to create musical games and compositions. At the end of the week, you’ll take your personalized instruments home.

Make a song with Artist Taylor Gersbach — From folk songs, to jingles, to protest songs, work together to draw inspiration from our ancestors and create a song in your own way.

Make Botanimals with Artist Jennifer Linderman — Learn to draw animals and botanic elements such as plants, trees, flowers, etc. and fuse the two subjects together to create “Botanimals”. Use and play with a variety of mixed media: watercolor, ink pens, markers, colored pencil, stamps and more.
